Introduction

I did my undergraduate studies at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi in the Department of Textile Technology. As an undergraduate, I worked with Prof. Ashwini K Agrawal and Prof. Manjeet Jassal and studied lower critical solution temperature (LCST) transitions in polyelectrolytic gels. After graduating, I worked at Career Point, Kota as a lecturer in Mathematics for one year. Immediately after that I joined University of Massachusetts, Amherst as a Ph.D. student and learned fundamentals of polymer physics by working with Prof. M Muthukumar on the theoretical aspects of polyelectrolytes. Currently, I am a post-doctoral fellow with Prof. Glenn H. Fredrickson at Materials Research Laboratory, University of California, Santa Barbara.

Research Interests

Currently, I am interested in the effect of fluctuations in the systems involving long range forces intricately coupled to short range forces.
